1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of Allir Bílar (allirbilar.is). By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

2. What the site does

Allir Bílar collects public car listings from Icelandic dealer and sales sites and from Facebook Marketplace, and shows them with price estimates calculated from those listings. We do not sell cars, we are not a party to any sale, and we are not affiliated with the dealers or sites the listings come from.

3. Listings come from others

Listing details, photos and prices are what the seller published. They can be out of date, wrong, or the car may already be sold. Always check the original listing and the car with the seller before you buy. If a listing is yours and you want it corrected or removed, contact us.

4. Price estimates

Price estimates are calculated automatically from listings on the site. They are an indication, not a professional valuation of a particular car, and do not take into account its condition, history or equipment. Do not rely on them alone when you buy or sell.

5. Your account

You can create a free account to save listings and searches. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you are responsible for what happens on your account. We may close an account that misuses the site. You can ask us to delete your account at any time through the contact page.

6. Acceptable use

When you use the site, do not:

  • use it in a way that breaks the law;
  • copy listings or data from it in bulk, including with scrapers or other automated tools;
  • try to disrupt it or get around its security;
  • use it to collect information about sellers or other users.

7. Links to other sites

The site links to other websites, including the original listings. We are not responsible for those websites, or for any dealings between you and a seller.

8. Limitation of liability

The site is free and comes with no guarantee that it works or that its information is correct or complete. We try to keep it running and its information correct. As far as Icelandic law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from use of the site or from relying on its information.

9. Privacy

How we handle personal data is described in the privacy policy.

10. Changes

We may change these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep using the site after a change, the new terms apply.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Icelandic law, and disputes about them go before the Icelandic courts.
